Chlorine is widely used as a disinfectant for water, not only will it kill pathogenic organisms, it is more effective in the long term than iodine. When dissolved in water, chlorine tablets give a measured dose of available chlorine which can be used for the disinfection of equipment, work surfaces etc, in hospitals, hotels, catering and local authority industries. These tablets are effective against MRSA, viruses and also all food poisoning bacteria. They dissolve quickly in clean water to form a versatile solution, suitable for your needs. For general sanitising of equipment and surfaces: add 1 tablet to 5 litres of clean tap water to provide a solution of 200ppm available chlorine or alternatively, soak and leave for 5 minutes. When mop soaking or cleaning floors and walls, add 1 tablet to 5 litres of clean tap water.
