Somehow in my browsing, I found myself buying a replacement printhead for the S84-EX and not the S86. We knew there’d be a call to replace the printhead in Warehouse eventually and so I ordered a quantity of two in advance. Made sure it was the correct dpi count and clicked OK.A week later, both Sato printheads show up, just as I ordered, and I felt accomplished. I put them into stock just waiting for the call where I’d have a chance to replace one for the first time ever.A week later I get the call. Finally, my golden moment. I grab the replacement printhead, suit up and head to Warehouse to replace the old one and, to my horror, discover I had purchased the wrong model. The S84 is about 4-5 inches wide and the S86 is much larger at 7-8 inches wide. My heart sank. Thankfully, our maintenance crew had one in their storage and we deployed the proper one instead.I graciously returned the wrong items to Amazon and was contacted probably a half hour after shipping them out by a corporate rep from the vendor asking if we’d received the order and if it were up to our satisfaction. The product was just what I ordered, came in a prompt manner, and was followed through with great diligence by Industrial Imaging Products. Their Hardware and Media Specialist, Sean, reached out and was more than helpful in assisting us in choosing the product that best fits this need as well as providing information about other services and products that we utilize in my company’s day to day.Overall, 10/10 would recommend.
