Shimano Fishing Rod & Reel Ix Spinning Combo Freshwater|Combo|Spinning

I had almost this exact rod and reel combo as a child, same reel and color scheme and all. My Father purchased it for me at the Navy Exchange in Norfolk, Va. over two decades ago. Imagine my delight at finding it from Walmart, and at about the same price it was all that time ago. It shipped promptly and arrived undamaged and packed securely enough. As soon as I could I strung it up with 4 pound test and began catching fish! Everything was in the same place and muscle memory kicked in along with a flood of nostalgia. Thank you Shimano for continuing to manufacture this virtually unchanged all these years later and thank you Walmart for carrying it and making it available for purchase at such a reasonable price.
