I bought these plates to avoid the mess of Thanksgiving dinner cleanup. They were flimsier than I originally anticipated but I thought we would give them a try anyways. I was pleasantly surprised on Thanksgiving day how well they held up to all of the food served. I did not feel that they would give way or break at any point. One of our guests made the comment prior to picking up the plate that he wished we would have used disposable plates because he did not want to cause a mess. He was surprised when he picked up the plate and realized they were plastic.Sizing: The size of the plates was exactly what I would have expected. The smaller plate worked great for a slice of pie or a small side salad. The larger plate was able to hold an entire Thanksgiving feast.I plan to purchase this item again in the future.
